Kicking off the new year, Bridget McCormack and the Badgers were back in action, competing at the Sharon Anderson Memorial on Saturday, Jan. 3 in Toronto. The first-year Business major was sensational, earning a first-place finish in the women's 600-metre race with a time of one minute, 34 seconds and 95 milliseconds. McCormack finished more than three seconds faster than the second-place finisher, while also picking up a sixth-place result in the 300m, posting a time of 41.53 seconds. McCormack is currently ranked No. 4 in the 600m and No. 8 in the 300m in the U SPORTS rankings.
