Max Burroughsford, a second-year General Humanities major, was untouchable on the mound for the Badgers in their 2-0 victory over the Waterloo Warriors on Sunday, Sept. 20. The right-hander pitched all seven innings to register a complete game shutout, while limiting opposition hitters to just three hits and one walk while striking out five. Burroughsford’s efficiency on the mound and ability to limit base runners capped off an impressive weekend for the Badgers, helping the team secure their eighth victory of the season and sweep their doubleheader against the Warriors.
