PREVIEWING THIS WEEKEND
The Brock University women's soccer team (2-4-4 OUA) have a pair of key games this weekend when they take on the UOIT Ridgebacks (3-5-2 OUA) at home on Saturday, prior to travelling to Waterloo to take on the Warriors (1-8-1 OUA) for a Sunday afternoon game with both games kicking off at 1pm.

PLAYOFF PUSH
With six games remaining in the 2013 season, Brock is currently in eighth position in the OUA West division sitting just outside of a playoff spot. The Badgers have 10 points through 10 games and trail UOIT by one, while Windsor, York and McMaster each have 14 to sit in a tie for fourth place. Brock will face Windsor on October 13th and McMaster in their final regular season game on October 19th.

ROOKIES LEADING THE WAY
The Badgers came away with a big 1-0 victory over the Guelph Gryphons (6-5-0 OUA) this past weekend thanks to rookie Kara Ross and her first goal in her OUA career. Ross's goal would be the game winner as Brock's rookie keeper Jenna Vasiliaskas made an impressive 12 saves for her first shutout victory and second clean sheet of the season (tied 0-0 vs. York on September 2nd).

UOIT PLAYER'S TO WATCH
The Ridgebacks have been led by first year Cassandra Sribny who has four goals on 10 shots through 10 games played. In her second year with the Ridgebacks and third in the OUA, UOIT's forward Sonia Sampogna will try to use her experience to add to her nine career goals in the OUA.

WATERLOO PLAYER'S TO WATCH
The Warriors will look to Adrienne Goldsworthy for a spark on offense as she leads the team with eight shots on goal and has scored one in nine games played. Waterloo has five players with one goal each.
