ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's rugby team improved to 2-3 on the season as they defeated the RMC Paladins by the score of 10-3 at home Saturday afternoon.
Brock controlled the play for the majority of the game but was held up at the goalline on a few different occasions by the tough RMC defense. The Badgers defense was equally impressive as they held the Paladins scoreless for the entire second half.
Scoring for the Badgers wasÂ
Liam Grimes who recorded the try and Edis Tarkuc who added a conversion and a penalty goal in the victory. The Paladins lone score came from Sam Hogg who added the penalty goal.
Brock closes out the OUA regular season away from home against the Waterloo Warriors (Oct. 11) and Queens Gaels (Oct. 19).Â
