The Brock Badgers men's rugby team was bested by the nation's top ranked team, falling by a score of 76-0 on Friday, Sept. 25., in Guelph, Ont.

The Gryphons controlled the contest from the opening whistle, building a significant lead throughout the first half before continuing their offensive pressure after the halftime break.

Brock's defence battled hard against the high-powered Guelph attack, but Guelph were able to find the try line consistently throughout the contest.

The result marks Brock's first OUA regular season loss of the year.

The Badgers will look to bounce back next week, as they welcome the Laurier Golden Hawks to Alumni Field on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. for the team's Canadian Tuxedo themed game. The game can be seen on OUA.tv.
