The Brock Badgers men's rugby team have lost their third consecutive matchup.
Â
As they honoured their seniors in front of their home crowd for the final time this season, Queen's bested Brock 45-7 on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Â
The Badgers only try of the afternoon was scored by fourth-year wing
Brady Perkins, which levelled the match 7-7 at the time, in the 13th minute.
Â
The Badgers were able to keep the game tight throughout the opening 40 minutes, allowing one further try throughout the first half, to trail their opponents 14-7 at the intermission.
Â
The Gaels began to create separation throughout the second half, as the Badgers were unable chip away at the deficit.
Â
With the Badgers now sitting with a record of 2-3, their final regular season matchup with the Toronto Varsity Blues becomes a must-win match as they hope to rescue a playoff spot with a .500 record. The game is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 17., at 7:30 p.m.
