
ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - The Brock University men's lacrosse team (2–0 CUFLA) continued to roll as they defeated the McMaster Marauders by the score of 17–6 Saturday afternoon at Kiwanis field. The Badgers have now outscored the opposition 50-9 in their first two games of the regular season.
Brock led just 3-2 after 20 minutes, before answering with 10 straight goals over the next two quarters, leading 13-3 after 60 minutes. Brock closed out the contest with four goals in the final frame, on route to their second victory of the early season.
The Badgers had a balanced attack led by
Mark Debrone who led all scorers with six points adding two goals and four assists.
Greg Davidson finished the afternoon with four goals, including his 150th career point as a Brock Badger.

Scoring for the Marauders were Mitchell Iszkula (2G, 3A), Justin Beatty (2G), Ryan Adams (1G) and Derrick Hastings (1G).
In goal, Brock goaltender
Ryan Jones recorded 19 saves for the victory. McMaster starter Max Yavitt collected 17 saves in the loss.
The Badgers return to action Sunday afternoon at 2pm when they host the defending CUFLA National Champion Guelph Gryphons.
