Laurier got on the board 16:23 into the opening period as Jessie Hurrell setup Dollee Meigs for the eventual game winner.
 

Brock collected only five shots in the first 40 minutes and outshot Laurier 11-4 in the final period, but could not solve Golden Hawks starter Laurin Webber who turned aside all 16 shots she faced for the shutout victory. Brock rookie goaltender Jensen Murphy (Kingston, Ont.) collected 26 saves in the loss. In her first three career games, Jensen has a .978 save percentage and 0.65 GAA.

The Badgers return to action Sunday when they take on the No. 6 ranked Guelph Gryphons on the road.
