
ST. CATHARINES, ON - The Brock University women's soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 decision to the Guelph Gryphons Saturday afternoon at Alumni Field.
With three games remaining the Badgers sit four points back of McMaster and five points back of Laurier for the final two playof spots.
The lone goal of the game came in the 10th minute from Guelph's Victoria Hinchcliffe.

Marilena Spagnolo (St. Catharines, ON) recorded five saves in the loss. Guelph's Liz Brenneman collected three saves for the shutout victory.
The Badgers take on the No. 4 ranked York Lions Sunday afternoon in Toronto.
