The Brock University women's soccer team (5-10-1 OUA) captured their fifth victory of the season as they defeated Laurier by a score of 2-0 in their 2016 OUA season finale at Alumni Field Sunday afternoon.
 
After a scoreless opening half, Brock opened the scoring in the 70th minute when Megan Salisbury set up Brooke Boekestyn who fired it past goalkeeper Katie Dickey for her fifth goal of the season.
 
In the 90th minute, Salisbury set up Stephanie Sanders who buried her second career OUA goal to give the Badgers the 2-0 lead. Salisbury finished the game with two assists.
 
In goal, Lauren MacCulloch made seven saves for her first shutout of the season. Dickey added two saves in the loss.
 
Brock finishes the season with 16 points, which places them 7th in the OUA West Division.
