Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 GUELPH, ON - The Brock University women's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie against the Guelph Gryphons on the road Sunday afternoon. The Brock men dropped a 5-0 decision to Guelph.

In goal, rookie Marilena Spagnolo (St. Catharines, ON) backstopped the Badgers to the 0-0 draw. She recorded six saves for her first career shutout. In five games this season she has posted a 1-2-1 record with 32 saves and a 1.94 GAA. 

In the men's game, Brock was outshot 16-2. In goal fifth year Matt Zaikos (Markham, ON) recorded five saves on 10 shots on goal in the loss.

The Badgers return to action this weekend at home when they host the Algoma Thunderbirds Saturday and Sunday at Brock Alumni Field. Games on Homecoming Saturday are scheduled for 11am and 1:15pm.
