The Brock University men's lacrosse team rolled past the Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 17-6 Saturday afternoon at the Seymour-Hannah Centre. With the win, the Badgers improve to 9-0 in the CUFLA West Division.
Laurier got on the board first, before Brock answered with 14 of the next 15 goals to take 14-2 lead early in the third quarter.
Brandon Slade finished with a game-high 11 points registering two goals and assists.
Davis Neal recorded four goals while
Saul Van Der Zalm,
Connor Ham and
Nicholas Rybka all added two goals each. Longpoles
Latrell Harris and
Joshua Harris both went the length of the field and scored. Adding single goals were
Tyrus Rehanek,
Grayson Houghton and
Kurtis Woodland.
In goal, Brock starter
Brett Mckinnon recorded four saves for the victory. The Badgers outshot Laurier 32-10.
The Badgers host the McMaster Marauders at 2pm October 15th at Alumni Field.
