The Brock University men's lacrosse team defeated the Laurier Golden Hawks by the score of 17-3 Sunday afternoon at Alumni Field. With the victory, the Badgers now advance to the CUFLA Baggataway Cup semi-finals next Saturday in Kingston.
Brock jumped out to an early 4-0 lead and led 7-1 after 40 minutes. The Badgers offense continued to roll in the second half registering 10 more goals on route to their 13th victory of the season.
Brock was led by
Brandon Slade who recorded seven pointsd adding a goal and six assists.
Connor Brown collected three goals and one assist while
Kurtis Woodland and
Jake Nyhuus added three goals each.
Nicholas Rybka and
Connor Ham contributed with two goals each while
Grayson Houghton,
Jordan Gillis and
Latrell Harris chipped in with one goal each in the victory.Â
In goal,
Josh Wood recorded the victory.
The CUFLA Baggataway Cup Championships is being hosted by Queen's University in Kingston November 3-5.
