The Brock University women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to the York University Lions Sunday afternoon at Alumni Field. With the loss, the Badgers drop to 4-8-1 on the season with three regular season contests remaining.
The Lions opened the scoring just 13 minutes into the opening half as Ashley Nater beat Brock starting goalkeeper
Marilena Spagnolo. Spagnolo went 463 consecutive minutes not allowing a goal.

Ashley Harris got a great chance early in the second half but could not solve York goalkeeper Tamara Orlando.
York added two goals in the final 15 minutes as Kendra Saxton added her second goal of the season and Nater collected her second goal of the contest.
In goal, Spagnolo recorded seven saves in the loss while Orlando collected threes saves for the shutout victory.
