The Brock University men's lacrosse team opened up a new era under first year head coach
Tim Luey with a 21-5 victory over the Laurier Golden Hawks Friday night on the road.
Brock opened the game with four straight goals, and extended their lead to 11-3 at the half. The offense continued to roll in the second half as they registered 10 more goals, on route to the 16-goal victory.
Brandon Slade led all scorers with a game-high nine points registering four goals and five assists. Connor Brown collected five goals in his Badgers debut, while Tyrus Rehanek added a goal and four assists for the five-point night. Saul van der Zalm (3G, 1A) and Connor Ham (2G, 2A) both recorded four points each while
Davis Neal added two goals and one herlper.  Rounding out the Badgers offense were Alex Pace (1G, 1A),  Parker Baile (1G), Grayson Houghton (1G) and Kurtis Woodland (1G).
In goal, Brock starter Brett McKibbon recorded the victory.
