Men's rugby falls in Kingston

The Brock men's rugby team lost 109-0 to the Queen's Gaels in Kingston on Saturday.

Brock falls to 1-3; Queen's improves to 4-0.

While Brock put up a good fight in the trenches they were thoroughly out-manned against the Gaels in open space as forwards Nicholas DeLallo and Ruairidh MacPhail combined for three tries on the match and also broke off for a series of long runs.

Perhaps the only consolation for the Badgers was the kicking play of their standout flyhalf Carter Bondy, who did his best to pin the Gaels in poor field position and whose great kickoffs lead to Brock recovering the ball on several occasions.

The Gaels took a 52-0 lead into the second half.

Up next, the Badgers (1-3) will attempt to snap their three-game losing streak when they travel to Trent to play the Excalibur (1-3).
