The Brock Badgers move into sole possession of first place in the Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association's West Division after crushing the Western Mustangs 12-4.
Brock limited Western to single digit goals, a season-low goal total.
"It was a great team effort for a complete 60 minutes," said head coach Tim Luey. "I think it shows us what we're capable of as a team."
The Badgers improved to 6-0 to remain undefeated.
Brock had multiple standout performances, including Adam Kirchmayer's dominant performance on the defensive side of the ball.
The Welland-born defender nullified the Mustangs' attack and consistently shut down Western leading scorer Cody Ward.
"Kirchmayer was great," said Luey. "He had some great turnovers and grounds balls. On offence, Sam Leclair scored some great goals and controlled the ball all night."
Up next, the Badgers (6-0) host the Toronto Varsity Blues (2-3) on Friday, Oct. 11 at 8 p.m.
