ST CATHARINES - Returning home to Alumni Field for their final two regular season games, the Brock Badgers men's lacrosse team opened their weekend with a decisive 9-3 win over the visiting McMaster Marauders on Saturday night.

In the Saturday evening match, McMaster was first on the board just four minutes into the first quarter. Slow to find their form, it wasn't until late in the first half that Brock was able to put together their offence and begin to pull away from the Marauders.

Brodie Thoms led the way with a hat-trick for the Badgers. Mitchell Zulian also scored two goals, while Noah Simonelli, Connor Gowland, Andrew Kidd, and Matthew LaBute each had single markers.

Brock are right back at it tomorrow afternoon challenging the Laurier Golden Hawks. Action begins at Alumni Field for 2 p.m. with the matches available to watch on the BrockTV Youtube channel.
