ST CATHARINES - In the first game of a home-and-home series with the Western Mustangs, the Brock Badgers men's lacrosse team came up just short falling 7-6 on Friday night at Alumni Field.
Brock fell behind early taking a 3-0 deficit into the first quarter break. Playing from behind, the Badgers were able to close the gap to just one goal with possession in the closing second, but were unable to produce a quality shot before the final whistle.
All six goals were scored by different Badgers including
Aidan Buis,
James Gowland,
Jaden Patterson,
Sam Leclair,
Blair Pachereva, and team scoring leader
Mitchell Zulian.
Brock and Western will finish the home-and-home in London next Friday, Oct. 14. Action is set to start at 8 p.m.
