Brock Badgers took to the road on Sunday (Oct. 1) as the men's and women's tennis teams faced off against Western at Western Tennis Centre.
The men's took the 6-1 loss while the women's team fell 5-1 to Western.
For the men, Jaden Chamberlain picked up an impressive 6-3, 6-4 win in their singles match over the weekend.
Alex Cristiano and Evan Goad secured the win over the Mustangs in doubles, recording an immense 8-4 result. After dropping the first set 6-3 to Gijis Noteboom, Nestor Voronych took the second by a score of 6-4 before ultimately falling in the third and deciding set 6-1.
On the women's side, Aleks Paramentic picked up a dominant singles win, taking the first set 6-1 and followed it up with a 6-2 second set victory.
Up next, the Badgers will compete at the OUA tennis championships from Friday, October 6 to Sunday, October 8 at the Mayfair East Tennis Club in Toronto.
