On Saturday, Dec. 2, the Brock Badgers' men's and women's curling teams competed at the University of Toronto Invitational Bonspiel at the Thornhill Curling Club.

The women's curling team opened with a win over the Guelph Gryphons. After a loss to the Waterloo Warriors, Brock fell into the consolation bracket, facing the hosts, Toronto Varsity Blues. The Badgers were defeated by Toronto, earning a fourth-place finish. 

The men's curling team advanced past the first round after beating the Guelph Gryphons in their opener. In the second round, the Badgers fell to the Toronto Varsity Blues, moving into the consolation bracket where they lost to the TMU Bold. Brock finished fourth at the invitational.

Up next, the Brock men's and women's curling teams will compete at the McMaster Invitational in Dundas. The invitational will take place in the new year, on Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 6 to Jan. 7.
