TORONTO - Ahead of the OUA Championships taking place in Windsor later this week, the Brock Badgers men's and women's track and field teams completed their final tune-up at the Hal Brown Last Chance Meet in Toronto this past Friday.
The Badgers men and women combined for five podium results at the annual event, highlighted by a new Brock program record time of 2:55.33 by
Madelyn Huston in the women's 1000m, earning her first place overall.
Fellow teammate
Ruby Neumann also took to the top step placing first in the women's 60m hurdles with a time of 9.20, while the men's 4x200m relay team rounded out the gold medal runners for the Badgers.
Meanwhile, in the men's 60m hurdles
Noah Nadon picked up a second place finish, while
Michael Ivanov added another silver in the men's high jump with a leap of 1.90m.
Brock saw another 10 personal best performances at the final event before the provincial showcase. The Badgers will now hit the road for Windsor and the OUA Championships taking place from Feb. 24-25.
