The Brock Badgers men's cross country team ran in the Don Mills open this past weekend.
Brock placed seventh in their six-kilometre race on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Columbia Ice Fields in Waterloo.
Earning 152 points in the race, the Badgers fell placing seventh, falling two points short of Laurentian in sixth.
Fifth-year runner
Christian Ligtenberg earned the best time for Brock, completing the race in 19 minutes and 36 seconds to place 33rd.
This was followed by
Riley Coles' time of 19:40.7, earning him 37th place.
Making their Brock debuts this weekend were
Frédérik Rivard (19:49.5),
Evan Ryall (20:42.3) and
Jack Sayewich (20:58.2).
Also competing for the Badgers were,
Isaac Iannarelli (19:44.9),
Brenden Damiano (20:15.9),
Garrett Wager (20:22.5) and
Redding Maxwell (20:50.1).
The Badgers ran a total team time of 1:39:08.
Up next, the Brock Badgers men's cross country team will travel to Hamilton to compete in the McMaster Bayfront Open on Friday, Oct. 11 at Bayfront Park.
