The Brock Badger men's cross country team took part in the Vigars & Salter Western Invitational. 

Brock finished in tenth place in the men's eight-kilometre race, finishing with a score of 292 in their first race of the season on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the Thames Valley Golf Club in London.

Christian Ligtenberg had the best recorded time among Badgers runners, with a time of 28:21. Brenden Damiano (30:11), Riley Coles (29:30), Redding Maxwell (28:56) and Garrett Wager (28:40) made up the rest of the Badgers team at the Western Invitational.

The team's total time for the race was 2:25:38 with an average time of 3:39 per kilometre. 

Next, the Brock Badgers men's cross country team will participate in the Don Mills Open on Saturday, Sept. 28 in Waterloo.
