The Brock Badgers men's cross country team gained experience at the 8-Kay Marauder Invitational as they prepare for their provincial meet later this month.

In the eight-kilometre race, the Badgers placed tenth on Friday, Oct. 11 at Key Drage Park. 

Isaac Iannarell led Brock's results, placing 51st with a time of 26 minutes, 55 seconds and nine milliseconds. 

Coming to the finish line next for the Badgers was Christian Ligtenberg in a time of 27:09.4. 

Redding Maxwell (28:28.1) finished one spot behind his teammate Garret Wager (28:24.3) while Evan Ryall (28:42.0) was just under two seconds ahead of Brenden Damiano (28:43.7). 

Other Brock participants were Riley Coles (29:10.3), Jack Sayewich (29:16.7) and Ethan Ryall (29:40.4) 

The Badgers are set to compete in the OUA Championships hosted by the Nipissing Lakers at the Osprey Links Golf Course in Callander, ON on Saturday, Oct. 26.
