The Badgers conquered the Marauders for their fourth win of the season.
Brock defeated McMaster by a a final score of 13-4 on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Alumni Field.
Avery Steinbach-Parker finished the contest with a game-high five goals while Jordan Wiens hit a milestone with his first career Canadian University Field Lacrosse Association (CUFLA) goal.Â
Steinbach-Parker put the team on his back in the first half, scoring three goals.
Despite his heroics, the Badgers found themselves in a close half with an even score of 4-4.Â
The Badgers came out rolling in the third quarter with goals from James Gowland, Jaden Patterson and Mitchell Zulian. They continued their momentum, scored a total of nine unanswered goals in the second half.
Patterson continued his strong play, finishing with four goals on the night.
At halftime, Patterson was named the Paul Miller Lacrosse Award winner. The Paul Miller Lacrosse Award is granted in memory of Paul Miller (BSc '90) who was a Brock lacrosse player. Paul played in 1986 which is the year the team went undefeated and won the championship.Â

Up next, the Badgers play host to the Guelph Gryphons on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. at Alumni Field. The Badgers look to avenge a close 9-7 loss to the Gryphons that took place on Sept. 7.
