The Brock Badgers men's rugby team suffered their second loss of the season.
Going up against the three-time defending Ontario University Athletics (OUA) champion Guelph Gryphons, the Badgers struggled, dropping a 92-8 decision on Saturday, Oct. 5 in Guelph.
Grant Meadows scored the only try for the Badgers, and Luke Bagshaw kicked a penalty convert.
The Gryphons controlled the contest from beginning to end, putting up a season-high 92 points.
Tomas Dallan led the hosts with three tries and eight converts for a game-high 31 points.
Up next, the Badgers will welcome in the Queen's Gaels for a highly anticipated showdown on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 4 p.m. Last year, the Badgers beat the Gaels 22-19 for the first time in program history on Oct. 7.
