The Brock Badgers men's rugby team began their 2024 season in Waterloo against the Warriors. 

Waterloo used a strong second half to take a 36-22 win over Brock on Sunday, Sept. 8.  

Grant Meadows opened the scoring with an early try for the Badgers.

Multiple tries from Waterloo in the first half gave the home team a 19-12 advantage.  

A try from Brady Hanna closed the gap for the Badgers, making it 19-17.  

That's as close as the Badgers got as the Warriors scored multiple tries in the second half. 

Meadows added two more tries for the Badgers in the contest.

Next, the Brock Badgers men's rugby team travels to Toronto to take on the Toronto Varsity Blues on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 1 p.m.
