After being named Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Player of the Year and First Team All-Star for the second consecutive year last week, Weinert added another recognition to her name on Wednesday, March 12.Â
The fourth-year guard/forward was named a U SPORTS First Team All-Canadian for the second consecutive season in an announcement made at in Vancouver, BC; the site of the upcoming U SPORTS Women's Final 8.Â
"It's truly outstanding Madalyn is receiving national recognition," said head coach Shae Dheensaw. "Her consistent dedication and hard work have significantly elevated our program, and her performance season after season continues to be incredibly impressive."Â
