Box Score ST. CATHARINES, ON - The Brock University men's soccer team fell to the McMaster Marauders by the score of 1-0 Wednesday night at Alumni Field.

McMaster's Yordan Stoyanov drilled home a cross from Marco Gennaccaro to put the Marauders up 1-0 in the 18th minute, which would prove to be the game-winner.

The Marauders controlled the majority of the play throughout the contest outshooting Brock by a 16-7 margin.

In goal, Brock senior Matt Zaikos (Markham, ON) registered nine saves in the loss. McMaster goalkeeper Kieran Doyle-Davis turned aside all four shots he faced for the shutout win.

The Badgers are on the road this Saturday against the Waterloo Warriors before returning for a four-game homestand, vs Windsor (Oct. 1 - 3:15pm), Western (Oct. 2 - 3:15pm), York (Oct. 6 - 3:15pm) and Guelph (Oct. 15 - 3:15pm).
