ST. CATHARINES, ON - The Brock University men's soccer team picked up their second win of the season as they defeated the Waterloo Warriors 2-1 on the road Saturday afternoon.
Brock's
Liam Wilson (St Catharines, ON) got his team on the board first as he beat Waterloo goalkeeper Thomas Modjesch for his second goal of his rookie campaign.
Waterloo evened the game 1-1 in the 39th minute, as Christoph Bruckeder setup Jae Jin Lee, who recorded his team leading fifth goal of the season.
In the 65th minute, Brock's
Noah Dino (Niagara Falls, ON) would put home the game winner beating Modjesch for his first goal of the campaign.
In goal,
Matt Zaikos (Markham, ON) recorded three saves for the victory. Waterloo's Modjesch collected three saves in the loss.
The Badgers return home next weekend when they host the Windsor Lancers (Oct 1) and Western Mustangs (Oct. 2) in two key OUA West matchups. Both games are scheduled for 3:15 pm at Brock Alumni Field. Â
