The Brock men's soccer team enjoyed a pair of games at home as they defeated Windsor 3-1 and posted a 0-0 draw versus Western.
Goalkeeper Alexander May played back-to-back games as he recorded the win and a shutout.
On Saturday versus Windsor, Jared Agyemang, Alexander Makubuya and Jordan Smalling each registered a goal.
"I think our forwards had a very good outing today," said head coach Lucio Ianiero. "In the second half Windsor came out and changed their formation, but it didn't catch us by surprise. We were battling with them, but it wasn't anything to warrant any changes on our end."
Dylan Serpa recorded two shots as the Badgers outshot the Lancers 10-6, and secured five corners.
Brock led 1-0 on an early goal by Agyemang, but Windsor's Stefan Milldrag tied it up at the 60th minute of the second. Makubuya scored five minutes later for the game winner.
The Badgers may have some of the fastest forwards in the OUA West with Agyemang, Makubuya, Smalling and Anthony Smith.Â
"We're trying to play to our strengths," said Ianiero. "Not that we're a long ball team, but those guys simply have quality speed."
Up next, the Badgers (3-5-1) will test their might against division leaders Guelph (7-1-1) and York (6-0-2) on Sept. 29-30.
