The Brock men's soccer team battled the No. 2-ranked York Lions to a 2-1 loss on Sunday.

York opened the scoring at 15:46 and Brock's Leonardo Giron knotted the game up in the 32nd minute. Omar Marzouk netted the game winner for the Lions during the 50th minute of the second.

The Badgers suffered back-to-back losses on the road this weekend.

The OUA West-leading Guelph Gryphons extended their win streak with a 2-0 win versus Brock on Saturday.

Youssef Zaghloul and Johnson Amoo each scored, while Ryan Collins made five saves to earn the clean sheet.

Brock outshot Guelph 9-8.
