The Brock Softball team went undefeated over the weekend and clinched a playoff spot in the Ontario Intercollegiate Women's Fastpitch Association.
The Badgers improved to 11-1 and lead the league in scoring with 110 runs and sport the largest run differential.
"The coaching staff was very happy with the outcome of the weekend," said head coach Mark Hall. "We're looking forward to the rest of the season as we prepare for our upcoming OIWFA Championships."
Brock trumped Windsor 13-0 to kick off their road trip weekend. The Badgers defeated the Lancers 10-6 in their second match.
On Sunday, the Badgers got by the Western Mustangs by scores of 3-1 and 5-2.
Third baseman Emilly MacDonald was force at the plate and on defence.
MacDonald went nine-for-14 at the plate this weekend. She blasted a home run against Windsor while adding four runs and two RBI. In the next series, she registered two runs and an RBI versus Western.
Madi Clinton added five RBI and Michaela D'Cruz registered four RBI. Katie-Ann Oberle drove in three RBI and Holly Hanchiruk recorded three hits.
Up next, the Badgers (11-1) have four road games remaining on their regular season schedule with a trip to Guelph on Friday, Sept. 27 and Waterloo on Sunday, Sept. 29.
