In the 77-64 victory on Friday, Nov. 14 against the No. 10 nationally ranked Windsor Lancers, the third-year guard logged a game-high 37 minutes and contributed five points, four assists and two rebounds.
Travelling to Toronto for the Pat Bolger Open on Sunday, Farokhizad placed first in the men's 100-kg division, winning all three of his matches by technical fall. The Sport Management major's first victory of the day came when he defeated the Toronto Varsity Blues Andrija Rasovic in two minutes and 30 seconds with a 10-0 technical fall result. In the semifinal, the two-time Ontario University Athletics (OUA) medallist earned another 10-0 technical fall win; this time in 1:12 over Jacques Chevolot of the Brock Wrestling Club. In the final, the third-year wrestler faced Brock's Callum Knox, defeating him in 3:21 via 11-0 technical fall.
