Adriana Martone accounted for two of Brock's 11 podium finishes over the weekend at the U of T Winter Invitational at Athletic Centre Varsity Pool in Toronto. The second-year swimmer finished first in the 50-metre breaststroke event, tying her school record with a time of 32 seconds and 80 milliseconds. This was faster than her 32.92 time in the same event at the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) Championships last year, where she earned a bronze medal. The Pyschology student was not finished there, additionally claiming a second-place finish in the 200m breaststroke with a time of 2:39.62. Martone will look to improve on her impressive campaign at the Badger Invitational at Eleanor Misener Aquatic Centre on Saturday, Jan. 31, before competing at the OUA Championships at Athletic Centre Varsity Pool in Toronto from Thursday, Feb. 19 to Saturday, Feb. 21.
