Jenna Duarte, a third-year forward, delivered a clutch performance for the Badgers women's hockey team in their 3-2 shootout win over the No. 7 nationally ranked Waterloo Warriors on Thursday, Jan. 23. Duarte scored the second of Brock's two goals in the second period before the Warriors would equalize with two of their own in the third. In the shootout round, both teams could not score a goal with their first three shooters. Duarte then stepped up in the extra round, putting the puck past Waterloo's Kara Mark to earn the game-winning goal. The Sport Management student is now tied for first on the team with 11 points along with teammates Madison Cronkwright and Madelyn Walsh and ranks second with five goals.
