In a Sunday, Jan. 25 evening showdown against the Windsor Lancers at Canada Games Park, Ben Bonisteel turned in a strong performance between the pipes, leading the Badgers to a 4-1 victory. The Computer Science major stopped 31 shots in the contest, giving the Badgers their 10th win of the year. The second-year netminder stopped all 13 shots he faced in the first period, and he followed that up by turning aside another 10 in the second. His eight saves in the third stopped any chances of a Windsor comeback as they tried to make a late-game push. Bonisteel finished with a .969 save percentage on the night, his second-highest save rate in a game this season.
