1995-96 full teamThe 1995-96 Brock Badgers men’s wrestling team built upon the momentum from the previous year, winning both OUAA and CIAU gold for the second consecutive season and third overall. 

At the OUAA Championships, the Badgers finished on the podium in all 10 events, highlighted by four gold medals. On the national stage, the Badgers earned nine medals, including four gold, two silver and three bronze. Richard DesChatelets was named CIAU Wrestling Coach of the Year for the second time in his career, while Colin Daynes became the fourth Brock men’s wrestler to receive CIAU Male Wrestler of the Year honours. 

Aaron Pomeroy claimed his fifth provincial and fourth national gold and was nominated for the Howard Mackie Award, one of the most prestigious honours in Canadian university sport. He was also recognized as Brock Male Athlete of the Year for the third time in his career, including one co-award. Meanwhile, the men’s wrestling team was selected as Brock's Team of the Year for the second straight year and was awarded both the Wyatt Earp Memorial Magnum and the President’s Cup.
