Wendie (Nutt) Praakel

Women's Basketball 1991-1996

Wendie (Nutt) Praakel, a native of Sudbury, Ontario, played for the Brock women's basketball team from 1991-96. In her five seasons as a Badger, Nutt was a three-time OWIAA All-Star (1993-94, 1994-95, 1995-96). She was also the Rookie of the Year in 1991-92 and Team MVP in 1995-96. Nutt currently ranks 6th in career points (1498), 2nd in career three-pointers made (195), 5th in career assists (281) and 13th in career Free Throws Made (208). She also ranks 6th and 7th in single season three-pointers made 46 (1994-95), and 47 (1995-96) and 8th in single season three-point percentage (40.2%) in 1991-92. She was the 1995-96 Brock Female Athlete of the Year.
