Brock University Athletics

Kyle Sweezey attended Brock University from 1998 to 2003 and wrestled for four seasons with the Badgers while earning a degree in Physical Education. 

During his career, the Badgers achieved sustained success at both the provincial and national levels, capturing four OUA team titles and four CIAU/CIS championships. Individually, Sweezey won four OUA medals, three of which were gold, and three CIAU /CIS medals, highlighted by a gold in 2001. That same year, he was named Brock University Male Athlete of the Year, becoming the 13th men’s wrestler to receive the award. 

Sweezey has since contributed to the sport as a coach and is currently with the Mariposa Wrestling Club in Orillia, Ont.
