Ken Bradford - Men's Wrestling (1984-1989)
Ken Bradford was a member of the men’s wrestling team from 1984-89. Prior to joining the Badgers, Bradford finished first at the 1979 Junior Pan American Championships. Bradford is a four-time OUAA Champion (1981, 1983, 1986, 1987) and four-time CIAU Champion (1982, 1983, 1986, 1987). In 1983 and 1986, Bradford finished third at the Pan American Games and would also get a thirteenth at the 1983 Senior World Championships. Bradford would finish first at the 1985 National Championships and eleventh at the 1985 Senior National Championships. In 1986 and 1987, Bradford would finish second and third respectively at the Senior National Championships. In 1987, he would also get a twelfth place finish at the Senior World Championships. Bradford was given the Outstanding Wrestling Award in 1985 and 1986 before winning the Brock Male Athlete of the Year award in 1987.
