David Picton - Men's Basketball (1991-96)

David Picton was a member of the Brock men’s basketball team from 1991-96. Picton stood out in first season with the Badgers helping Brock win its first CIAU National Championship in 1991-92. In that season, Picton was awarded the OUAA West Rookie of the Year, as well as being named to the OUAA West 2nd Team All-Star and the CIAU National Championship All-Star Team. In his five seasons as a Badger, Picton was a two-time Brock Male Athlete of the Year (1993-94, 1995-96) and three-time OUAA First Team All-Star (1992-93, 1993-94, 1994-95). In 1993-94, Picton was recognized as the OUAA West Most Valuable Player and was named a CIAU First Team All-Canadian. He was also a four-time member of the Canadian National Student Team. In 1996, Picton’s #31 jersey was retired. Picton accumulated 2939 points over five seasons and continues to lead all scorers at Brock University.
