Diane Hilko - Women's Basketball (1978-84)


Diane Hilko was a member of the women’s basketball team from 1978-84. In her first season with the Badgers, Hilko was named to the OWIAA First All-Star Team and she was also honoured as the Female Athlete of the Year for the 1978-79 season. She was recognized the following season as the Team Athlete of the Year. Hilko was named to the OWIAA Second All-Star Team three times (1979-80, 81-82, 83-84). In 1983-84, Hilko shot a league best 58.6% from the field and finished her career with 743 points. In 1979-80, Hilko took her athletic abilities elsewhere to become the OWIAA Discus Champion.
