Brock University Athletics

Luke Collison wrestled for the Brock Badgers from 1987 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Physical Education before completing a Bachelor of Education in 2001. 

A cornerstone of the wrestling team for five seasons, Collison played a pivotal role in helping the Badgers capture their first national title in 1992 in front of a home crowd in St. Catharines. He was also named the CIAU Male Wrestler of the Year in 1990, becoming the first Brock men’s wrestler to receive this award. 

Collison captured four CIAU medals, two of them gold, and stood on the OUAA podium four times, highlighted by a first-place finish in 1992. Beyond Brock, he was crowned Canadian Espoir champion in 1988. 

Today, Collison continues to give back to the sport as a wrestling coach at West Niagara Secondary School in Lincoln, Ont.
