Brian Stride - Track and Field/Cross-Country (1973-1977)

Brian Stride was a member of the men’s track and field and cross-country teams from 1973-77. In his four years with the Badgers, Stride was a three-time Brock Male Athlete of the Year (1973-73, 1975-76, 1976-77), two-time OUAA outdoor track gold medalist, two-time OUAA indoor track gold medalist, and two-time OUAA cross-country gold medalist. Stride also won a bronze medal in the OUAA indoor and outdoor track and field championships and held the outdoor record for the 3000m. Stride won a gold medal at the CIAU cross-country championships. In 1975, Stride was a member of the Pan American Games team finishing fourth in the 3000m.
