Ed Davis

Builder 1967-1975

Ed Davis was instrumental in starting the Brock men’s hockey program in 1967, which competed in the Ontario Inter-Collegiate Athletic Association (OIAA) for the first time in 1967-68. For two seasons Davis was the head coach of the team bringing in former standouts Mike Nicholson, Steve Latinovich and Bruce Wormald. The Brock Men’s Hockey Most Valuable Player trophy is named after Ed Davis.

Davis was also the head coach of the Brock Men’s Curling team from 1970-1975. In 1971-72, he led the Badgers to the school’s second conference title as they captured the OUAA Championship defeating Carleton 15-4 in the final.
