Paul Sheehan - Men's Hockey (1976-79)
Paul Sheehan was a member of the men’s hockey team from 1976-79. In his first season with the Badgers, Sheehan was recognized as the Athlete of the Year by the city of St Catharines. In his three seasons with the Badgers, he was a two-time Brock Most Valuable Player, as well as two-time leading scorer for the Badgers (1976-77 & 1977-78). Sheehan was selected as an OUAA All-Star in 1976-77 as the leagues leading scorer. In 1977-78, Sheehan scored an OUAA record 8 goals in one game. Sheehan was an assistant captain in 1977-78 and was named the team captain for the 1978-79 season. At the end of his career, Sheehan had accumulated 64 goals, 58 assists for 118 points and sat in the top 10 for career goal scorers in the OUAA.
