Brian Wasylowich - Swimming (1983-1988)
Brian Wasylowich was a member of the men's swimming team from 1983-88. In his five seasons with the Badgers, Wasylowich was a three-time OUAA gold medalist (1984-85, 1985-86, 1986-87), six-time OUAA silver medalist (1983-84, 1984-85, 1985-86, 1986-87, 1987-88) and seven-time OUAA bronze medalist (1983-84, 1984-85, 1985-86, 1986-87). Wasylowich's OUAA gold medals came in the 400m Individual Medley (1984-85, 1985-86) and the 400m Freestyle (1985-86). In 1985-86, Wasylowich won a medal in all three colours at the CIAU Swimming Championships with the gold medal coming in the 200m Freestyle. At the 1985 Canada Summer Games, Wasylowich took home two silver medals. In that same year, Wasylowich and the Badgers men's swimming team broke the Brock University record for the 4x200m Freestyle Relay (7:40.84) and he also broke the record for the 400m Individual Medley (4:29.01) at the 1988 CIAU's. Wasylowich is a two-time Brock Male Swimmer of the Year (1986-87, 1987-88). He also competed at two Olympic trials (1984, 1988) and was a part of the National Team Tour in Europe in 1985 and 1986.
